Online sessions mean you can access therapy conveniently from the comfort of your own space without having to travel.
I’ve found online sessions just as effective as meeting face-to-face. I’ll try my best to make sure it runs smoothly for you, in a safe, secure environment.
Sessions last 60 minutes and cost £60.
Your first session
The first session will last about an hour and is a chance for us to meet and see how well we would work together. The only goal is for you to get a feel for whether my style is what you’re looking for – no pressure!
We will cover how my counselling works and what to expect. I’ll answer any questions you might have. Finally, we will discuss what you’re hoping to get out of counselling.
If you would like to continue working with me then I’ll take a few contact details and go through a bit of paperwork with you.
If you don’t want to continue or you want time to think, that’s absolutely fine too. It’s important for you to choose someone you feel comfortable and able to connect with, even if it isn’t me.
I use Zoom, which is free to download on your phone or computer, and can use without opening an account.
You can watch a quick video on how to use Zoom here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-Meeting
In order to have an online session you need a space where you can talk freely and without distraction. You could always sit in your car or go for a walk if home doesn’t work for you.
If you would like to chat on the phone while you get set up for the first time, or would like a practise run, then I’d be happy to talk you through it.
